(2002) David Ellwand, David Downton, Eugenie Bird
A book about fairy fashion?! I was absolutely giddy when I found this book.

I first discovered this gorgeous fairy book last summer when I was checking out every single fairy book I could find from the library. As I flipped through it after we brought home our library treasures that day, I fell in love immediately!
This swoon-worthy “coffee-table” book presents itself as a fashion designer’s collection, only these outfits are all for fairies! And they are all made so very beautifully and artfully from items found in Nature.
The book immerses itself in the design world of The House of Ellwand, showcasing and describing each marvelous, miniature ensemble. While there is a loose storyline throughout and some delightfully whimsical text, I think the true Wow! factor lies in the stunning fairy outfits.
If you are a person drawn to fairies, fashion, Nature art, or anything from the magical realms, then this book is for you! Track down a copy, drink it in, and enjoy!
