I’ve been an eco-enthusisast and a book lover for as long as I can remember. Any advice to “niche down” gets me in a tizzy, because I have SO many interests, but these two are non-negotiable.
I’m so grateful to have spaces to share about both these passions, mixed in with my loves of teaching and creating. I have two very small YouTube channels, and now this lovely Pumpkin Cottage Studio to call ‘home.’

More About Me…
- I am Mama to two wonderful kiddos
- During my time as a public school teacher, I spent at least some time with every grade level K-12 (I definitely found K-2 the toughest grades for me to teach and the middle school years, my favorite). Now, as a homeschool educator, I am so grateful to spend my days with my kids, learning alongside them. Not all of it is easy, but it’s always worth it.
- I am a lefty, a middle child, a Scorpio, and an introvert.
- I love hedgehogs and porcupines, and I’m wondering what this says about me as a person…
- I’m a sucker for picking up sticks and twigs on our Nature walks, and we have a large collection, awaiting my creative ideas to come to life.
- Reading and storytelling are HUGE parts of our daily rhythm. It’s one of our favorite times to connect, to learn, and to cuddle.
- I’m not just a treehugger in name – I genuinely love being around trees and giving them hugs.
- I’m a vivd dreamer, both in the sleeping world and in waking life. I have very clear visions and hopes, and I am so grateful to have this space to start exploring some of those here.
